I Am an American Soldier

I am an American Soldier.
I am a Warrior and a member of a team. I serve the people of the United States and live the Army Values. I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.
I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills. I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
I am an American Soldier.
The most important part in the Soldiers Creed more me in this moment and time is I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself. It is very important to secure all your sensitive equipment and items, and maintain accountability. There are a lot of times that we tend to forget that we have an obligation to the Army, our fellow soldier and our Country. By not being accountable for my sensitive item I put all of that at risk. When I left my room there was over two hundred rounds of ammo that was there for anyone to take. That is two hundred possible people on this forward operating base that could have been killed because of my stupidity. That is a lot of people that could have died and in looking back on that I don’t think that I could handle that on my mind for the rest of my life.
The reason simply is to keep very important high cost valued items and equipment accounted for so people all around you do not have to deal with the consequences of the lost item or equipment. Also every
sensitve item or equipment is high dollar vpalued so if you lose it you will be hurting money wise by losing a grand or more easily right on the spot. And
