“Bettering Education while securing our future”
In September 1959, Guam built its second largest high school that holds about 3500 students every school year, which was named John F. Kennedy. As the school year passed the school had faced financial crises and was declared unsafe in June 2008. The classerooms had leaking ceiling, some building were rusted, and weren’t enough books for students. With these unsafe things, the school remained closed for three years, while being closed the government had rebuilt it and was reopened in August 2012. Similar incident had happen in Michael Moore “Idiot Nation,” he mentioned that our political leaders are ignorant and many schools and libraries go underfunded.
