In the last semester break, my parents decided to take us for a picnic by the seaside. Teluk Kemang is about 12 kilometers from Port Dickson town in Negeri Sembilan. It is a popular beach where many people go to and relax on. This place is popular among the tourists from different countries.
My mom woke us up at seven in the morning. Then she started to cook so many types of foods such as chicken rice, nasi lemak, sandwiches and the list goes on. While my dad was busy arranging the items into the boot of the car with my brother.
So, we arrived there at about ten in the morning. The beach was already crowded with other holiday-makers. My dad’s eyes busy looking for a place and thank god we managed to get a place in the shade of a large tree and without wasting any time we put our things there before others tourists take the place. My mom laid out a mat for us to sit on.
Then my sister and I went to the changing-room nearby to change our clothes to swimming suit. By the time we reached the beach, I saw my brother build a sandcastle. It’s awesome. Without wasting any time my sister and I jumped to the sea. The water was cold but we enjoyed the weather and swimming. My sister taught me how to swim but up till now I never know how to swim. Maybe I got genetic from my mother that’s why I can’t swim.
The hot sun makes us uncomfortable. My dad called out to take a breakfast so we rushed to the beach as fast as we could. I sat down on the mat and we enjoyed our foods. After that we return back to sea, now my dad following us while mom just sitting there watching us and smile.
When the clock just passes by twelve o’clock in the afternoon, we went back to the beach and take a lunch. My mom served us with chicken rice that her cooked and we bought ice-cream to make our throat feel comfort.
