General Purpose: To persuade
Specific Purpose: At the end of my speech, my audience will understand the viewpoint of the people who are “pro-life”.

From the moment of conception, that developing baby has the potential to achieve something great in this world.
III. Credibility: Growing up, I always heard opinions about the abortion controversy, so I decided to familiarize myself with the two sides of the situation. As I spent more and more time researching abortion and reading the arguments that both pro-life and pro-choice advocates make, I realized just how deep this debate actually goes.
