Nowadays, life it is not easy for many parents to afford their children’s’ education mainly because of the economic hardship. My Name is tchap sorel and I m from Gabon and actually my parents have a lot of difficulties to finance my study because they lost their business the main finance provider. My parents are out of job right now and they are selling their own property to survive. Thus, scholarships are good opportunities for me to make my dream come true.
As a child, I dreamed to bring something new to the world, develop processes to improve our environment and help people around me. Science is my devotion. When I have a problem in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology, I get involved much more than when I have other subjects. Anything relate to science make me curious and excited about learning something new. I am a student of the Texas Tech Universty and I am on the way to get an Bachelor Degree in Science in fall 2014. I am interested furthering my studies and gaining knowledge and experience in Petroleum. The reason I choose Texas Tech was because of my big brother who graduated in 2010 and today he is independent and happy person with a good job. Also I choose because it has good name means popularity. I am not in peace because I know my parents have some difficulties to cover all my tuitions every year.In my family, we are 5 children and I am the second child of my parents going to college.
