Do you think gays should have the same rights in housing, public accommodations, equal access to government benefits, and equal protection and rights of the law? Perhaps, you know someone who is in a gay relationship and favor equal rights for the decision that is chosen. Now, what about marriage? Marriage is defined between a man and a woman, therefore; same-sex marriage should not be legal due to the meaning, how it will weaken the tradition family values, and most religions consider homosexuality a sin. The gay lifestyle is not something to be encouraged. In today’s society, children should have a mother and a father to look up to and be able to explain any problem that may arise.

Indeed, marriage has been defined as a religious and legal commitment between a man and a woman and the ultimate expression of love. Marriage is more than just a word or piece of paper.
