At present there are studies that show that there are more women enrolling and graduating from college than men and going off into many different fields that was totally wild in the olden days. Back then you would have never even thought of a woman being the lead doctor in the pediatric department, or even being a crew supervisor at the nuclear plant down the street. Some women have became the “Bread Winner” of the family and are leading the household, with the man at home or working but just not making as much as the wife. A woman nowadays motto seems to be “the sky is the limit” which it should be for everyone.
Roles of women are being heavily delegated and the thought of women doing everything inside the home has somewhat vanished. It’s very common now to see your father washing the dishes or vacuuming the floor and taking care of day to day chores. Women as stated in the second paragraph have become leading ladies and are head of household so it would only make sense that the previous duties would fall upon someone else’s shoulders. As economic independence took place in many women lives, there was a adjustment in the structure of the family element. The traditional role of women began to lose significance. Both husband and wife have a role to play and start living on equal terms.
