Title: Interview with Mr Vasil Atanasov ' “Farel”-export import
In this case analysis our subject is an interview with an entrepreneur. We interviewed Mr. Vasil Atanasov - General Manager of Farel Group LLC (which is consisted of two daughter companies - Farel Chemicals and Farel Cigar) , Skopje, Macedonia.

“Farel Chemicals is founded in 1990 in Skopje, Macedonia, and has an office in Belgrade, Serbia which was established soon after the foundation of the company. The firms Headquarters are in Skopje, Macedonia. The owner and general manager Mr. Vasil Atanasov has worked many years with companies in Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania and Macedonia, so he is familiar with the market in the region, especially the Polyvinyl chloride and Polyolefin industry, as well as the paint industry. “
“Farel Cigar Is founded in 1993 and is the biggest distributor of Long Filler Cigars in Macedonia. It has over 150 points of sale (set up humidors in stores) in the whole country.”
Throughout the case analysis we will see what entrepreneurism is all about, how an entrepreneur thinks, what makes him confident that the risk he takes is worthwhile, how did he get his idea, where did he find the money to start the businesses and a few other stuff that will probably help us understand what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.
Q: How did you get the idea?
A: First, we should find gap in the market and that gap forces you to create new ideas. Also the lack of resources (oil, water) forces you to enter in new components. The same is with “Farel”.
