Are teenagers able to fall in love in the same way as adults?
Teenagers are able to fall in love the same way as adults. I believe it’s a lot easier for teenagers to fall in love than adults because they don’t allow their inhibitions, fears, or pride keep them from being in love with someone. I am a prime example I fell in love when I was 13 years old. His name was Jesse James Jimenez. He made my heart smile! My heart’s joy was loving him. I moved to 318 Valley Ave when I was 9 years old, that’s when I met him, Jesse he was my next door neighbor.
We immediately became best friends, we went to the same school, we were in the same class, his birthday was 5 days before mine, and we hung out together everyday rain or shine. I loved Jesse he was the best male friend I had ever had. I loved everything about Jesse, the way he smiled, they way he’s brush his back when he was puzzled about something or in deep thought, the way he valued our friendship, and they way he treated me.
I fell in love with him on December 2, 2003. There was a guy in my class named Joxsel who had asked Jesse to hook him up with me and he said he would. He was reluctant about doing it but he did it anyways. So when I got to Jesse’s house that day after school he told me that Joxsel wanted to go out with me and I immediately asked why. He asked why it mattered. I said because I want to know why he wants to go out with me.
Jesse stopped in tracks and asked why he wouldn’t? Jesse said, not only are you cute, you’re a sweetheart, you make people laugh, your athletic, a great person to talk to, and you have a great personality! I noticed as he was talking to me that I felt the same way about him, different memories flooded through mind, different embraces that we had appeared, and I realized that the reason why I was reluctant about Joxsel was because I wanted Jesse.
