Well a week and a half of good ole R & R in the wilderness of Minnesota with family has finally come to a end. There was a lot to learn from the whole experience. Most of my time there was spent at the campground on Devil's Track Lake where we fished the day away, cooked smores on the camp fire, and got to get to know my family that I have not seen in a long time. The lessons you ask, well here are some that I think were discovered. One person rediscovered a lost love in a activity, another found peace and tranquility in the wilderness, another rediscovered what the word family really means, and if you give something a try you might just like it. All these sum up to "Life is too Short". My hero found that out at the wrong moment before he passed away and I think what he tried to teach us in the end was to have fun, life does not have to be serious all the time, and smile every once in awhile.
