Spring training has just started for the St. Louis Cardinals. Along with not only spring and baseball, comes a lot of things. It is more like a big mark in time. First, the Major League baseball season starts. With this comes the raging drunk fans and more competition. Also people are starting to visit the attractions surrounding the stadiums. Along with the actual baseball side of things, there is the uniforms that bring joy. Second, spring training is a sign that the summer season is just around the corner. With summer comes tan bodies and happiness. Also there are trips to the Lake and Long distant vacations. Lastly I love the country music concerts that come with summer. Back to a sports note, football season is over. This is a great time for the people of St. Louis because of many reasons. One of them being that people are less depressed. Another thing is that the constant football ads are going to slow down. Lastly for football, fantasy season is over, which has its ups and downs.
Spring training brings the baseball season. When people think baseball season they think of drunk fans. The reason everyone has such a good memory of a drunk person when thinking about baseball, is because people use the games as another reason to get drunk. On top of slamming as many beers as they can before the seventh inning, people are roasting in the hot sun sitting in the red chairs of Busch Stadium. On the topic of fans, not everyone at the Cardinals game is rooting for the Cardinals. So now you’re mixing alcohol, hot sun, and competition. If you get lucky you might see a fan fight. On another note, baseball season brings quite a bit of revenue to the areas surrounding it, whether it be the bars or the people running the parking lots. During the seasons surrounding baseball, not as many people are visiting the actual city. Thus the economy is being boosted by the amount of people spending their money in St. Louis. The...
