Work ethic is important in the work area traits I would want an interviewee or potential employee to have is attendance, attitude, and appearance. Attendance tells me how serious one is about their job. Attitude in the work place should be friendly and show your character. Appearance in the work place shows how someone carries their selves and what to expect from the other workers.
Attendance in the work area is very important to me it is a top priority it helps let everyone know how dependable someone is. At work there should be a minimum of two days out of the month I think they are able to miss for sick reason or an emergency. If they are constantly at work there could be a chance to get promoted because of attendance. If they aren’t at work they can miss what they were suppose to learn that day. Then that would hold someone up because they will have to go back to teach the individual.
Attitude is another must have in a workplace no matter how smart someone is if they have the wrong attitude in a workplace it is useless. Sometimes attitude can affect others that might work for me. If you have a bad attitude others may have one as well. The best attitude to have is friendly being friendly towards co-workers and the customers. Hard-working is also an attitude because they never know who is watching.
Appearance is also an important ethic I would look for when interviewing a potential employee. Appearance is the first thing I would look at when I’m interviewing someone. If they are well groomed and carry their selves like a potential employee that’s a good start. They are helping making sure my company is well represented and looks good. Good appearance at work helps someone feel good about oneself, your confidence, and their outlook on life.
With the three wok ethics attendance, attitude, and appearance someone is going to be a successful employee when they begin to work.
