B.F.F. Qualities
“A friend is one of the nicest things you can have ,and one of the best things you can be” -Douglas Pagels. Everyone needs someone that they can trust, someone that can make them laugh when they are down, and some one who is considerate of others. That is why I have challenged myself to be the best friend that I can be! While in the process of becoming a better friend I looked up some scripture references and friendship quotes. Some of the references I found were: Proverbs 18:24 and John 15:13; they talk about how some friends are closer then family and they would trust their life in their friends hands. The characteristics that I think make me a good friend are that I am funny, trustworthy, and considerate of others. Everyone needs a friend that can make them laugh, that can be trusted with anything and at the same time is considerate.
To start of with, my favorite characteristic is that I am funny, I love to make other people laugh! I like to be the silly one that makes everyone giggle by saying or doing something that makes them feel better. “The friend is the man/woman who knows all about you, and still likes you.” -Elbert Hubbard. That quote is a great quote because it is so true! Because, your true friend should know you so much better than any one else so they know how crazy and ridiculous you are ;although, they also know an except how I am deep down with any imperfections that I may have, although that is a different story in most case’s.
Another, is being trustworthy, in Proverbs 18:24 it says “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” If my friends need me, they should know that I will be there no matter what, one way or the other. I know that my friends trust me ,because they tell me a lot of deep personal things ; therefore, when they tell me these kind of thing it make me feel good , just by having the reassurance that they really do trust me and it makes me....
