Both nations are alike and different. The students in both countries work hard to make good grades. The Japanese are more international then the Chinese and the Japanese have a more accepted study program. The Chinese have some problems with their degrees being accepted because of past abuse. Both nations teach a line of thought not accepted in the international schools, Nanking and the deaths from Mao. So both nations teach a changed history or the governments are in denial about each nations history. Anytime you teach incorrect history about your nation or other nations you have a reason for this. Many times the lies that are taught also breed hatred for others. This in turn breeds the mistrust and anger that is a base for conflict and war. In China and Japans case, the Japanese deny the brutal treatment they bestowed upon the Chinese. In China's case the CCP encouraged the Japanese to abuse the Chinese during the occupation. But now blame the Japanese for the exact things the CCP wanted from the Japanese. This was good for the CCP when the Japanese were committing these acts but today it is good for the CCP to blame all things on others. The CCP ignores the millions of Chinese they were responsible for dieing but at the same time blame the Japanese for many more deaths than the Japanese actually killed. Both nations lie to their population and in both cases it creates bad feelings between the two nations. Both governments have painted themselves into a corner that they can not get out of, they tell the truth and both governments may be in trouble of collapsing. But graduates from either nation are welcome in most nations as they are both hard workers and loyal to their employers. These students are not the people who make decisions in either country and are only caught up the blame game. Good luck to all the young people and maybe one day both governments can sit down and come clean with their people and each other.
