The gospel of John was written so that many may believe in the coming of the lord Jesus Christ. In chapter one, of the book of John, the Lord uses John as an advocate to bear witness of the Light, Jesus Christ, that all men through him might believe. John continues to ministers to the people and tell them that there was someone worthier than him to save the world. John witnesses the spirit of the lord descending upon Jesus from heaven like a dove, John then knew that Jesus was the Son of God. The next day after John stood and two of his disciples looked upon Jesus, as John said “Behold the Lamb of God”. (John 1:36). The two of John’s disciples heard John speak and the followed Jesus.
In chapter two of the book of John, Jesus performed his first miracle. On the third day in Galilee, Jesus and his disciples were invited to a marriage. The people attending the marriage wanted wine and Jesus mother said unto him, “They have no wine” (John 2:3). Jesus knowing that his hour had not yet come said unto her “What have I to do with thee?” Jesus’s mother knowing who he was told the disciples whatever he tells you to do, obey. Jesus asked his disciple fill the water pots to the brim and they obeyed. Jesus turned the water into wine. The Jewish Passover was at hand and Jesus found that they were selling and buying in the temple. Jesus tells them that he can destroy the temple and rebuild in three days but in which he spoke in reference of his body.
In chapter three of the book of John, Jesus meets a Pharisee named Nicodemus the ruler of the Jews. Jesus says to Nicodemus in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven you must be born again but Nicodemus does not understand and is confused. Jesus says unto him, unless a man be born unto water and spirit he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. Still without understanding Jesus tells him that just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, the Son of man must be lifted up but whoever believes in him shall not perish but have...
