Buffalo Wild Wings- Bar & Grill, Restaurant Review
Buffalo Wild Wings began as small buffalo-styled wing and beer restaurant near Ohio State University, Ohio, in 1982. The restaurant have been constantly expanding across the United States and Canada, spreading its award winning, boldly flavored New York-style chicken wings, sports & family friendly environment, ice cold beer, and high quality service. Buffalo Wild Wings believes that, “…our concept can support about 1,700 restaurants in North America…” (2012 Financial Statement p4) and to attempt to prove this statement, a further look into the food quality, the friendly atmosphere the restaurants produce, and the current and future restaurant locations will be demonstrated throughout this paper.
Known for its delicious food, especially for their popular wings, the restaurant chain currently offers 16 signature sauces and 4-5 signature seasonings, from Sweet BBQ to Blazin’- very hot, for those who dare. Besides their unique wings, BWW also offers other items from the menu such as wraps, hamburgers, ribs, salads, and the famous Buffalo Chips. Setting a standard menu across all locations along with standards in service and atmosphere, BWW can expand its reputation for providing the best wings and food Nationwide. A downfall exists for BWW where the dream of expanding to 1,700 restaurants may diminish. Depending on what’s ordered, the prices for food are fairly reasonable. The main source of income comes from Chicken Wings, whose cost has dramatically increased in the last year forcing the restaurant to increase its prices. Increasing the prices of their chicken products may drive customers away; on the other hand, if they didn’t increase prices, they would lose profits which again drive away from the goal of opening more stores.
Buffalo Wild Wings it’s a great environment for couples or families with young children and wonderful place to be if you are a sports fanatic when hosting major sport events....
