InterClean has revamped their sales department and the hiring surge is now over. The next step? Making sure that all new sales personnel are oriented and trained to do their new jobs within the company. Not only that but ensure that the new employees mesh well the existing sales personnel.
THE NEW TRAINING AND MENTORING NEEDS:
A new leaf has been turned within the InterClean organization; the sales Department has several new employees that have a fresh perspective on how to revamp the sales department. This is not only true of the sales department, but of other offices within InterClean as well. Top management realizes that without taking care of its staff and their training and mentoring needs; it is only hurting the company as a whole in the end. By hiring a team of six new people within the sales department alone, management has decided that it not only wants to have an orientation session to help get the new team up to speed on the in’s and out’s of the company, but it would like to have a team building session for both old and new employees. However, for all new employees InterClean would like to see them take training specific to their new jobs within the company. This training will be more individualistic than anything. In addition to beefing up the training side of the house, InterClean would like to have a mentoring program implemented to help newly hired employees. This will help them gain a clear understanding of how to not only reach their goals within the company, but have someone to talk with should any sort of problems arise.
OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING AND MENTORING PROGRAM:
In the previous section, three types of training courses were mentioned. One, an orientation class. This class will be held for all of the new personnel being hired to work for InterClean.
