Child Abuse
Child Abuse is a problem that is happening all around the country. It is the physical, emotional, mental or sexual mistreatment with children. It is done every day in homes across the country. Usually the parents, guardians, or anyone that looks out for them does it. It can be hitting the child or endangering the child and it could be sex abuse. Child sexual abuse is a crime everywhere you go in this country.
Child abuse is a worldwide affecting children from birth to as old as eighteen. It could be done at any age. It is more common in households then anywhere else. It could be anyone, but most of the time it is someone close to the child. If abused, the child tends to become anti-social and feel neglect. Sometimes they tend to act out with bad behavior and begin to experience drugs and/or alcohol. It is not healthy for a kid to group up with a family that abuses or neglects them regularly. It doesn’t matter what age it occurs because it happens at all ages. The most common age is between one through four. At that age, children can’t defend themselves or speak out for themselves. It becomes difficult and could become a long-term effect on that child’s life.
Physical abuse is the second most reported form of child abuse. The form of the abuse is mostly willful other than accidental. Physical abuse can range to anything. There can be punching, slapping, kicking, beating or anyway harming the child in any way. The parent or guardian may not have intended to hurt the child, but did anyway. This abuse to children is preformed everywhere around the world. It shouldn’t go on as much as it has. When the children are old enough to defend themselves, they sometimes let themselves be abused because of how routinely it became and the fear of more physical pain.
