It was the Sunday morning, I went to the Emmanuel Church, the 23th of June, 2013. It is not a very big church, and very ordinary exterior of the building, which located on the corner of 18tth street and Gurley Ave. The first thing I noticed form the outside is the beautiful windows. Those windows have rectangle shape, and have the decorative pattern on it, which you see a lot in the church. Those pattern are symmetrical, some kind of flowers or vine pattern in the top and the bottom, the whole thing looks like a sharp pencil. Beside the windows, the builds are just ordinary, solemn, and ashen. One side of the builds is the big cathedral, which is where the people have their speech, baptized and worship. Connected to the cathedral is the corridor, there are some smaller rooms for children and minor activity. Go through the corridor is a other activity room that is bigger compare to the rooms in the corridor. After you open the door, you will see those beautiful windows, it is more colorful than when you look form outside, and there is a platform in the one side of room, and next to platform, it is a piano. There are many chairs line up in front of the platform orderly. I also saw a small kitchen behind the room, so I thought this is the place people have their meal after worship every Sunday, and it get proved later.

During the visit, people keep coming, they are all so friendly, and welcome me to the church, even though they know I am not a christian. That is nice, and I noticed that they call each brother and sister, my cousin said that we are all brother and sister under God.
After some introduction with his friends, I followed him to the big cathedral. The first thing I feel solemn and dignified, I guess it is because everything in the cathedral is ordinary and orderly. Then I saw a big stage in the front side of room, and...
