Clinical Death

A dark and dull vibe surrounded me. I looked ahead to find a long narrow path enclosed by bright light, and yet the atmosphere where one stands is the complete opposite to bright? Without noticing my feet began moving following a sudden noise that I could hear. It was very subtle but clear. It echoed into my ears sounding like my name; every time it did so, my feet responded and began moving step by step. The path felt like never ending but the end felt so close. Everything inside my body was not functioning all I could sense was my surroundings. Nothing around me felt normal though, It was like I was on another planet or in another world of my own. I felt anxious and to what I thought was the end a figure appeared before me but it was only outlined. Reaching it closer, I thought I’d be able to recognise it more but in fact it wasn’t like that. The figure appeared more blurry and as I passed it it stood in front of me disallowing me to go further. It reached to touch me and as it placed its hand on m…

“Something’s never change do they.” He said sarcastically. With a grin on his face he reached for the belt by the side of the bed. He walked out of the room placing the belt into the holes of his jeans.
“And what is that supposed to mean?” asked Claire with a confused expression on her face as she followed him out of the room with tears trembling down her pale cheeks. In response to the following question Claire had put forward, he turned round slowly with flared nostrils and clenched fists showing his anger. “I haven’t done anything wrong! All I did was ask you and yet like I’d seen into the future your ignored the question and didn’t have the decency to answer me with a real answer, WHY?! TELL MY WHY?” she continued raising her voice with every word she spoke. With only half of his belt in and his trousers hanging loose as the buttons weren’t done up he strolled over to her still with his clenched fists....
