Globalisation, being one of the most popular topic in today’s world, has sparked out a series of debate over its effects. A common way to examine the issue would be discussing whether these effects are favorable or pernicious. The essay will study the similarities as well the differences of these two perspectives. While they are largely different in stating that globalisation’s role in helping to improve average standard of living, the two perspectives also agree in globalisation’s ability in making the world a smaller place through bonding the countries together.

By examing the two perspectives, one significance would be that they both acknowledge that globalisation contributes in more advanced communication. This is seen in the development of transportation as well as communication. While the former enables faster accessiblity of human, the latter allows information to be shared all around the world. This is agreed by both perspectives. The favorable perspective states that the process of globalisation brings the integration of the world.
