Spring is the season between winter and summer. Autumn is the season between summer and winter. Both seasons are beautiful; they are often colorful and wet. Although there is plenty of natures beauty in spring and fall, there are also some differences as well such as, weather, color, activities. I really enjoy to be outside during both seasons, but I prefer the fall season, because of the way nature changes everything to prepare for winter.
In spring, the air begins to warm; temperatures slowly rise as the days get longer. Snow and ice melt and more rain falls down during this season. I hear the sound of the last frost crackling under my feet. Spring is full of showers and flowers. Leaves on trees start budding out and begins to turn green, flowers and grass start growing thanks to the temperatures getting warmer and warmer. We also smell the first cut of grass on a warm spring day, and who can forget the sight of seeing all the people in their yards working hard to get their gardens ready for the upcoming season.
Everyone is always anxious when spring rolls around because they can wear shorts and t-shirts again. Kids love to go out and play. They ride their bikes, and if it is a windy day, it would be fun to fly kites. You can also hear the crack of the bat, as players begin to start spring training during this time.
Spring is busy time for people too. Farmers take care of the animals; they also plant seeds in the fields. People swim and go sailing for fun. Who can forget the feeling when you have butterflies, swarming around me, landing on me for good luck. Who can forget the way an ice cold glass of lemonade tastes on the first day of spring?
In fall the air begins to cool. So fall season is a cool, frost and sleet weather. Nothing in the world compares to the color of autumn leaves. Leaves of some trees will turn colors such as red, yellow, gold, orange, and brown and all they fall off then turn into giant leaf piles. I can always remember my first...
