If parents monitor their child’s internet usage it can prevent cyberbullying. In paragraph 13, sheriff Judd said “The girls parents failing to monitor her behavior.” This quote means that if a parent monitors their child’s behavior over the internet then incidents like this can avoided. The girls parent should have really monitored her device once they figured out about the incident to avoid more problems. In paragraph 14, sheriff Judd said “Why does she even have a device.” this quote means that once her parents figured out she bullied Rebecca to death her phone should have been taken away. Also most parents should be ashamed that they raised their child like that and took away not just her phone but everything internet related. This is why parents should monitor their child’s internet usage.

Right when she told Rebecca to drink bleach and die her parents should have stepped up and disciplined her. If this happened to someone I know I would find the bully and disciplined him/her myself. If parents discipline their child it can teach them not to bully.
