However, whenever you go camping, you don’t normally expect to have cake, or brownies or other things you would normally need an oven to bake. But, when you have a mother who had been a Girl Scout troop leader, you definitely could count on having cake. II. This was made in a cardboard box oven. It’s very easy and inexpensive to make. III. I’m sure most of you have been camping at some point. Usually the only desserts we can count on are s’mores. IV. I grew up making cakes in box ovens and other kinds of food while camping. Like I said, my mom was a Girl Scout troop leader for about 10 years and this was her favorite thing to teach. V.
