I will be choosing my project font using 1 of the following 3 fonts;
Hobo Std:
I would use size 20 for large, main focal points such as the title. For the main text throughout the project I would use size 14 and for sub headings and so on, I would use font size 16. I would use bold text in certain areas. I feel this font is inappropriate for my target audience, although it may be fine for young teens I feel that it is inapt for readers of an older age. I feel that it gives of a childish sense to my project and also I feel that it does not give on a professional image, therefore I have chosen that this font is not suitable for my project.
Comic Sans MS:
This is the second of my fonts. As with before I believe it is a good idea to use font size 20 for a title, 16 for sub headings or introductions and size 14 for main text. In places I will use bold text. I consider this font to be much better than the one above, this is because I feel it has a less ‘striking’ effect, however I feel that this font is, as with the above, inappropriate taking in mind my target audience of ‘young teens and men above this age ’. On the whole I deem this font to be much more suited with a comic strip – maybe there is a reason behind its name.
