Discuss food hygiene and comment on its importance in daily living
The main purpose of this essay is talk about the food hygiene. It will divide into three parts to discuss it which including raw material, bacteria and timing. As we know the hygiene of food become more important for our lives because we cannot live without food and the primary point of food is hygiene.
Firstly, the most important part of food hygiene is the raw material. No matter how nice the supplier provide for consumers they must use the qualified material. The raw material is the basic of food hygiene and it is the most important standard of food hygiene. For example in the April of this year the horsemeat scandal was taken place in the European. Many European countries’ supermarket uses the horsemeat to replace the beef that supply to consumers. The effect of this terrible scandal was shocked the world and it attract many countries’ attention on the raw material of food. Finally these supermarkets withdraw the problem horsemeat and apologize to all consumers. This scandal proves that the raw material is the most important factor of food hygiene.
Secondly, in addition to the raw material the bacteria also determine the food hygiene. In the area of biology the bacteria determine by a member of large group of unicellular microorganisms lacking organelles and an organized nucleus which can lead to disease. If people want to eat the health food they must kill the bacteria. In people’s life there are many methods that can kill the bacteria. Such as cooked food ripe before eat and use the freezer to preserve food. People often cook food not ripe and the bacteria still alive cause some disease. People should know that if not cook food ripe that the bacteria will still alive and hurt people. In addition to this if people have not eat up their food they have to preserve them into the freezer.
