Dying Thin

Dying Thin

My reactions to the video on Dying to be Thin
It stunned me because I did not have a good understanding on eating disorders and how they affect the people’s health. It is about people who have eating disorders like anorexic and bulimia. Since the 1950’s anorexia has increased thirty-five percent. You have all these diets now days and then some women become unhappy with their bodies. You have little girls saying they are fat and trying to diet. Three out of hundred girls will develop an eating disorder according to the video.
Some girls now days just like Erin in the video are afraid if they eat in turn, they will get fat. In addition, they get ideas about what their weight should be by television. Some girls are made fun of in school by other kids telling them they are fat. You see it now days between adults making fun of other adults for being fat or putting them down for being fat.
