Like many other companies there are different decisions that need to be considered and recognized in concerns to any process. In many cases we need to understand the concerns that a company such as McDonald’s can face in economical situations. Many times companies are just viewing other possibilities but with the McDonald’s franchise we understand that there are patters that can help the job get done in a more accurate way and providing us with higher gains in our market. By understanding the economic process we can help the business come up with new market ideas that can help in the growth of the company. Economics is a major factor in the integrated success of our franchise. Making decisions concerning our economics can affect our decisions. McDonald’s is one of the most highly recognized markets because of their success in food service that provides a fast paced and well recognized environment. McDonald’s with new products and how they are competing with other markets is helping in the success of the economic growth. McDonald’s has decided also to come up with more caffeinated drinks such as Iced Mocha’s, and coffees making the prices more reasonable to purchase instead of those of Starbucks. The economy might be affected by certain dilemmas that are occurring but for McDonald’s this is a reason to expand and show the other markets that while their prices are high to purchase we are here for the people when they need a more reasonable price. Making our prices reasonable helps us expand in this time of need. “Let us now examine their marketing strategy. This of course includes their cost structure as well as their pricing strategy. Although McDonald's has thousands of restaurants around the world, it standardizes menus and operating procedures in these restaurants to
take advantage of economies of scale (google, para 29)”.
