Abstract
This research paper is going to be about how an abortion can affect a person health both physically and emotionally, the aftermath of an abortion and the side effects, how it violates civil rights for the reason being that we are taking away the right to live from these babies and how abortion can basically be seen as a murder to an innocent human being.


Abortion is commonly known in the United States as a procedure to end a pregnancy. It uses medicine or surgery to remove the embryo or fetus and placenta from the uterus. Some women consider an abortion because their pregnancy might threaten the woman’s life or her health or her baby may have severe birth defects. Other women choose to end their pregnancy without any known problems with their health or with their unborn child. Although abortion is a legal procedure and is one of the most commonly practiced by at least 40% of women in the United States, it still immorally wrong and the procedure may leave everlasting problems with a women’s reproductive system, which is something that most women are unaware of when deciding to get an abortion. Although abortion is advertised as a safe and pro-choice type of procedure people are always blindsided by the outcomes that come with an abortion. What we must realize is that abortion is essentially the killing of another human being, the termination of another person’s life.
A human life begins right away from the moment of conception or fertilization, so essentially any procedure conducted to terminate a pregnancy is going to be viewed as a termination of human life. As stated by Dr. Alfred M. Bongioanni, a professor of pediatrics and obstetrics at the University of Pennsylvania “I have learned from my earliest medical education that human life begins at the time of conception….
