Expenditures and Revenue
Intro
In this document, I will discuss expenses and income of the Seattle police department in 2014, the impact they have and the key players. Revenue is all the funds given to the agency from either the government or from profits depending on the type of company it is. Expenditure is a fee that is indicated to disburse as soon as the cost is acquired. Doing this is a business way of using the similar standard to connect the charge that occurred to revenues that are created in the same period. Doing this produces the maximum and most precise finical reports that give out the best results.
Revenue Source
The one source of income that the SPD has is the Mayor. The Mayor has made a commitment to the public to continue top fund the police departments to keep the public safe. In 2013 total operations of the department was $263,085,780. Therefore, the police department proposed a total of $286,332,986 that is to be used in 2014 and was granted and endorsed $267,586,531 in 2014.
