Abortion is a woman's personal choice, no one else's. No other person should ever have an influence on what a woman should do with her body. The government should not be trusted to decide whether a woman should have an abortion or not. Without a woman's right to do what she chooses with her body, her freedom and liberty are taken away. A child needs to be loved and wanted; a mother who resents the child's birth will not give the proper care or nurturing a baby deserves. Though Pro-choice is the legalization of abortion, it does not mean Pro-abortion. Pro-choice is the rights in choosing weather to reproduce adopt or aborts. I believe a woman has the right to choose whether to keep the baby if she knows that she is willing to take up such a life changing responsibility. Pregnancy has many obligations, and once becoming pregnant you tend to lose many privileges. One of those rights is the right to pursue happiness, if you can’t raise I child, what’s so happy about that? Abortion solves that problem; most times the mother of the unwanted child will neglect the child. In most cases the mother is young and inexperienced or too poor to support the child. Having a child is very expensive. They usually tend to become malnourished and most likely won't have health care. Why try and support another life when you can barely support yourself? Even if abortion were to become illegal, women would resort to “back alley” abortions which are unsanitary and can harm a woman’s body, resulting in It's unfair to bring up a child in an environment that you don't feel is what your baby deserves.
