The Proposal
I am so nervous. We have been dating for four years now. It’s time to propose. What if she says no? But what if she says yes! Oh boy, the tension is rising on me.
“Wow, the beach is pretty crowded. I see that party was for everyone,” Chris says.
“Duh Chris, it is a party, and this is a pretty local place.”
“Well, let’s walk along the beach so we can talk about our four year anniversary.”
“Okay dear, I would love that.”
Chris and Tiffany begin to take a walk on the beach. The sand feels cold and rough making it uncomfortable to walk.
“Tiffany, do you think we will be together forever?”
“Well, Chris, yes, I would like to spend the rest of my life with you. You’re the only guy I love and want to be with.”
The stars are shining bright, lighting up the dark sky.
“I’ve been waiting to do something for a long time.”
“What is it Chris?”
“Hey, you guys come back to the party. You’re missing all the fun,” Victoria, a friend of Tiffany, says interrupting the conversation.
“We will talk about this later; I really want to know what you mean by that.”
“You will find out later.”
I came close to popping the question. Darn her friend. Well, we still have the night.
“Pretty cool party, don’t you think? Bonfire and this large crowd, very exciting,” Tiffany says.
“Oh, Tiffany, as long as I am with you it’s always fun, but this party is pretty good.”
“Man, this bass is making my ears ring like crazy.”
“Just dance to the music and you’ll be fine.”
“Chris, let’s go somewhere quiet so we can talk.”
“Okay fine, let’s walk over by the shore.”
This will be a perfect time to propose to her. Wow, I am thinking too much about it.
By the shore, the water is really cold and you can hear it rushing on the shore.
“What did you have to tell me Chris?”
“Oh nothing, it was just in the heat of the moment. I have a question, though. What kind of wedding would you have?”
