Fight Club Essay

The nature of fight club shows the reason men are fighting to the extent that they believe their strength will overcome obstacles in their lives. The feeling of exploitation endures among those men because they are inferior into the society. When the narrator doesn’t feel himself in control of his own affairs, the nature of his personality becomes subjugated to materials that "own" his identity. For example, when the narrator felt that his boss controls every aspect of his behavior, his unrest created immeasurable hatred against him, that's why the narrator felt that he might had cancer or a disease that would conquered the rest of his life. Therefore, he relied on changing his own identity to an aspect that would viewed him more superior than others. He met Tyler Duraten and he insisted that he wanted to become like him and forget about his past. Duraten created project mayhem, and that point, all of the narrator's "old life" became more likely elevating his personality from better to worse conditions in which he was regarded as Tyler Duraten himself.
The meaning of life in the narrator's view, is death without identity is the ultimate prize. The narrator wants to be like Tyler Duraten, but there are some obstacles in life that leads to numerous compositions which lead to a better life. One of the composition is creating project Mayhem. This project intended to engage all people in society and express their hardships against those who control society. When Tyler met with the commissioner who wants to shut down the fight club, Tyler told him, "The people you're trying to step on, we're everyone you depend on we're the people who do your laundry and cook your food and serve your dinner. We make your bed. We guard you while you're asleep. We drive the ambulances. We direct your call. We are cooks and taxi drivers and we know everything about you. We process your insurance claims and credit card charges . We control every part of your life"...
