Am going to write a short report of the blues, I've played trumpet for 3 years and my favorite blues player is Harry James I love the song " You Made Me Love you" wow really sexy song i think. The "blues" can mean many things all at once: a musical style, a particular scale, a crushing feeling of depression or just plain. In my opinion i really like the depression music of blues, some of the songs has a meaning of lost of love or just plain depress. The blues help you talk about you feelings in a song instead of just talking about it. When you look up blues in the dictionary it means "A state of depression or melancholy". Another good composer is “Louis Armstrong”, he was a foundational influence on jazz. Armstrong also had a great voice just like his trumpet, mostly jazz is always head in New Orleans by now it's heard in most bar's worldwide if you go to this bar thats called “Hole In The Wall” here in San Antonio they play nothing but jazz and blues. Jazz includes at least eight to ten people to play in a band there are trumpets trombones, drums, saxophones and guitars and bass.
Jazz also started to get a reputation as being immoral and many members of the older generations saw it as threatening the old values in culture and promoting the new decadent values of the 20s.
