When I think about my goals in life, I mostly have several long term goals, just a few short term goals, and many personal goals. I hope to achieve most of my goals, if not all of them. While going through my life, I have realized that setting goals for myself has helped me become a successful person. Having set goals has given me direction in my life and has helped me figure out what I want to do and where I want to go in life. I have also come to the conclusion that goals are an important aspect of life and are very helpful in planning my life as long as the goals I set are realistic.
I have several long term goals that I want to achieve. My first long term goal is to graduate from college. To achieve this goal I have to continue to work hard and pass all of my courses. I want to major as a paralegal and graduate with my associates. My second long term goal is to get my associates in paralegal and start working in a law firm. My third long term goal is to graduate so I can make a living for my son, and save up money to send him to college, so he can be a hard working individual as well.
I have a couple of short term goals I would like to achieve. My first is to pass all of my assignments to succeed as a Paralegal. My second goal is to keep my GPA up so I graduate to in my classes. I will need to keep doing all of my work and make sure that it is all turned in on time. I will also have to study hard for all tests that I have to take.
Personal goals are the most important goals I have set. Without personal goals, then you cannot set long term and short term goals. One of my personal goals would be to excel in school so that I can be a great support system and role model for my son, and to get him the necessities that he needs. My second goal would be to become healthier and lose some weight that I gained while I was pregnant. My third goal is to spend as much time with my family as possible, because you just never know how much time you will get to spend...
