INTERPRETATION OF THE GRAPH

From the graph we know that, there is an association between Financing Amount (x), independent variable and rate of profit (y), dependent variable. The direction of the line in the graph is positive. All the scatter points are exactly on the line.

The relationship between Financing Amount (x) and rate of profit (y) is very strong because the coefficient correlation, r[pic] is equals to 1. It means that the association is perfect positive relationship.

The equation of the line in the graph is y=0.0463x+0.3065. From the equation, we know that the slope of the line is 0.0463. Meanwhile, the y-intercept is 0.3065.

For every 1 unit rise in Financing Amount (x), the rate of profit (y) would increase on average of 0.0463 unit. When there is no Financing Amount, the rate of profit is 0.3065.

INTRODUCTION

We have done a survey about Personal Financing-i Scheme that offered in Bank Simpanan Nasional. The purpose for us to do this survey is to collect statistical data for our Linear Regression task. We need to define the relationship between the dependent and independent variables by the means of a linear equation.

We collect the data for the linear regression task by did a survey in some banks. We collect pamphlets about Personal Financing-i Scheme, Monthly Instalments and Loan Instalment. After a small discussion we find that data about Personal Financing-i Scheme is suitable for the task.
