Boundaries, Housing, and Zoning
Lathrop is located approximately 58 miles south of Sacramento and 47 miles northeast of San Jose along Interstate Highway 5. The City is within a -30 to 45 minute of Tracy, Manteca, Stockton, Lodi, Modesto, Livermore, and Pleasanton. Lathrop inhabits an area of approximately 16.7 square miles and has a, population of 18,063. Central Lathrop has few open spaces which are fields of dirt. It appears that these open spaces are well kept and groomed by the local city landscapers.
