Our project is about doplants need water. Are question is do plants need water? Are hypothesis is if, we changed the liquid of the plant to coffee and coconut milk, then it will grow less.
Are back round research is plants need water to grow but they also need other materials such as sunlight, soil, and the correct temperature. The cold temperature can affect the plants by the freezing temperature can tend to stop or slow down flowering or growth. When temperatures drop around 32 degrees F. frost forms and freezes the water inside the leaves.
Hot air affects the plants by hot air, practically hot and dry wind causes too much moister loss from the plants foliage. High temperatures speed up the normal living process of plants to a maximum rate and above 90 degrees F.
Our variables are independent variable: The liquid; used to water each plant. Dependent variable: The height or health of the plant. Controlled variable: The type of plant size; amount of liquid; amount of soil; soil type; etc.
The materials are lettuce seeds, 3 containers, a marker, potting soil, coconut milk, coffee (Nescafe), water, and measuring cup.

Our data analysis is that coconut milk grew 3 in. In trial 1. Trial 2 it grew about 4.5 in. Trial 3 it grew 10 in. Our average growth in coconut milk was 3.6. Water grew in 11 in. in trial 1. Trial 2 it grew 12 in. Trial 3 it grew 10 in. The average growth for water is 11 in. Coffee grew 5.5 in. in trial 1. Trial 2 it grew 8 in. Trial 3 it grew 7 in. The average growth for coffee is 6.83 in.
Our procedure is 1. Label each container water, coconut milk, and coffee. 2. Fill in the containers with organic soil. 3. Put 2 seeds in the containers, and then pour soil on top of them. 4. Measure ½ cup of water and give it lettuce plants in the container labeled “water.” 5. Measure ½ cup of coconut milk and give it lettuce plants in the container labeled “coconut milk.” 6. Measure ½...
