Help Meet Gen 2:18 & 20
It is common talk that a wife or woman who intends to be a wife is a help meet. The question here is have we really considered deeply what “help meet” really means?
It is true and correct that the bible says a woman must submit to her husband (Eph 5:22 Col 3:18) and meet the help he”needs”. At this point it is pertinent to ask another question – If you need help in doing something would you ask for help from someone whom you know is worse than you in the particular task or area you need help in? What stops you from knowing the word (by letting God teach you) or building up yourself and make his job easier for him?
When two good intelligent and wise people tackle an issue or task, they are always likely to come out with a perfect result. The saying – ‘Two heads are better than one’ is now a cliché, it is now - ‘Two good heads are better than one’. Be an...
