THE IMPACT THAT SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 CAUSED THE UNITED STATES
I will be discussing the changes in America since the attacks of September, 11, 2001. The threats to civil liberties, neglect of social problems and the politics that have change since September, 11, 2001. There have been many turning points in American History, but none have had the same effect as September 11, 2001. Many Americans relate to the day to be the country’s loss of innocence. As the result of September 11, 2001 many Americans lives were affected emotionally, economically, politically, and judicial.
What happen to the judicial side of United States. The American justice system was under attack, with people being held without access to lawyers, sometimes having secret detention hearings closed to the public, and sometimes without being formally charged with a crime. The suspects were prosecuted for providing material support for potential future acts of terrorism, than actually taking place of an attack.
