unit’s products or services within the specific industry or market segment that the company or
business unit serves” Wheelen et al asserts and added “Just as corporate strategy asks what
industry(ies) the company should be in, business strategy asks how the company or its units
should compete or corporate in each industry”. Relatedly Porter’s Generic Competitive
Strategies are widely used and applied by many entrepreneurs and corporates to compete.
PART 1
