Dispatched to 507 Daisy Lane for possible missing Juvenile 13 year old Melanie Blake at appx. 0615 hrs. on 17 NOV 13. Arrive at residence at 0650 hrs.
Residence is in a well groomed middle class neighborhood apprx. 5 years old. At least one home for sold and another quarantined with plastic for termite control 2 vehicles at the residence. Appeared to be a 2000 black Lexus in the drive way and a 2001 red Suburban parked illegally adjacent to the home in front of a fire hydrant. No noticeable pets.
Interviewed blonde female approximate age 30 years height 5’4” who identified herself as Bonnie Blake mother of missing child. She alleged that Melanie Blake went to bed at 2100 hrs. Friday night and set her alarm clock. She then reports hearing Melanie’s alarm clock and calling her name several times before she got out of bed to go check in on her and that is when she discovered the child missing. Upon being asked if Melanie had a history of running away Mrs. Blake contends that no she did not have a history of that. During further questioning I asked Mrs. Blake if she had been outside this morning, she said that she had after noticing the missing child. When asked if she knew if anybody besides her had entered the room since they discovered the child missing she replied no. I also asked if she had handled the door knob from the inside of the room and she responded that she did not remember and was not certain if she had. Mrs. Blake stated that she is also certain that she was not at friend’s house. She also mentioned that Melanie keeps a diary. As I continued to question Mrs. Blake I ascertained that Melanie’s Biological Father (John Hart) lives in Colorado and that she and Mr. Blake are currently
