1. I do not support Nicholas Carr at all. IT gives companies advantages in numerous ways. IT can be used to reduce the cost of business processes as a whole, IT can also use globalize business expansion. IT can create virtual organization as business partners.
2. I agree with the business partners in this case because IT can make radical changes to business processes that dramatically cuts cost, improve quality, efficiency and shorten time to market. IT also creates new market niches.
3. IT has made it possible for businesses to be open 24 x7 all over the globe. This means that a business can be open anytime anywhere, making purchases from different countries easier and more convenient. It also means that you can have your goods delivered right to your doorstep.
