I made it!!
When thinking back on life and all the goals you have set forth and accomplished you begin to wonder which one of those accomplishments stands above the rest and why. Well while I was recalling most of my accomplishments I found that one of the most important accomplishments of my life was completing high school and receiving my high school diploma. Though there are many more accomplishments that could compare to it but this is at the top because their are many people who started with me but didn’t finish with me. also i had so many moments that wanted to make me quit but I received strong support from my friends and family which made it easy for me to finish what I started. Now this is my story...
Starting high school was not the easiest thing due to the fact I had to go to one in another city because my mother wanted me to be in the medical magnet program. The name of this high school was Stranahan High School or SHS for short. it was in such a horrible neighborhood trouble and violence was looking at me at every corner i turned. When I started attending SHS in the fall of 2009 their was said to be over 950 freshman’s in the school. I began to wonder if having all these students in a grade would interfere with my learning experience due to the lack of one on one time I could spend with my teacher incase i ever needed extra help. Well my hypothesis was correct, having over 30 kids in a classroom not only disrupted the teachers lesson but it made days behind in work and the result of this was students failing tests from being rushed to take them but through all of that I still pushed on.
Years passed and the problems only escalated. In January on 2013 "my senior year", I had accidentally cracked a mirror in the SHS weight room due to the fact one of the weights had fell on it. As a result of this I had...
