JOB DESCRIPTION
Cluster Co-coordinator
To co-ordinate with sports and social clubs for various social events and activities between clusters
To co-ordinate with all respective Cluster Heads throughout the year in order to foster the spirit of student activities.
To encourage all students to participate for events and sporting activities.
To represent all Social Clubs/Societies in the Student Senate, thereby reporting activities and ensuring social clubs/societies follow rules and procedures agreed by the Student Senate
To attend University meetings (Student Council, working groups, focus groups etc) and actively represent Cluster Heads and any other appropriate staff/student member
Prepare reports and presentations on events/activities etc when required by the University (monthly)
Prepare posters etc for publication of events/activities
Monitor and maintain accurate information on all cluster activities, schedules, achievements and results
Carry out any other duties required by the Student President in regard to clusters and Student Senate
To report to the sports coordinator to ensure sporting achievements and reports are submitted
Person Specification
You will need to be able to gather the opinion of a wide range of students from various disciplines.This will mean you should be approachable and friendly and be able to listen well to a range of views and have the leadership to decide what appropriate event to to organise and to lead the team at all times. You should also be outgoing and be willing to approach students to talk to them about the event.
As the role can be quite demanding, you will need to be able to demonstrate good time keeping and organizational skills. You should be able to process information and present clear arguments.
