Notes on presentation slides:
Slide no. 1:
A clear title of the whole presentation that will be discussing merger process between the two companies.
Slide no. 2:
The difference in cultures between the Symphony and the Opera. We know that each company has specific culture, it is mostly adhocracy for the Utah opera, and hierarchical for the Symphony.
Slide no. 3:
The Utah Symphony has the characteristics of the following cultures:
- Clan Culture: strong relationship between members.
- Hierarchy Culture: looking for employees in all authority hierarchy.
- Adhocracy Culture: growth, prosperity, and high-quality art products.
Although the Symphony has a hierarchical culture, but still it has the signs of clan and adhocracy cultures. In addition, the same applied to the Utah Opera, which has the adhocracy culture with the signs of other cultures: clan and hierarchy.

The Utah Opera has the characteristics of the following cultures.
1. Clan Culture- solid relationship among staff members.
2. Hierarchy Culture- looking for employees in all authority hierarchy.
3. Adhocracy Culture- growth, prosperity, innovation, and high-quality art production.

Anne should identify all similarities in cultures to create unique culture for the new company.
All similarities between the cultures of the Symphony and Opera should be identified to create new culture for the new Opera.
