Abortion
People believe that abortion shouldn’t be illegal because it messes with their morals and beliefs others believe that each person has their own choice depending on their circumstances. Abortions can cause many side effects and cause a little one to lose their life before it even begins. 1,211,137 fetus are destroyed a year this causing women to be left to deal with depression, anxiety, guilt and many more mental and physical effects.
Majority of people believe that abortion should not be a choice because of their own personal morals. Abortion is looked at as a sin and unhuman from their point of view. A main reason for this thought is because they can develop a heartbeat as soon as 4 weeks after being conceived this making the child living. Others relate this topic very closely with God and The Bible, like organizations such as Pro-life, who make it very clear that it is sinful and looked upon to even think about abortion.
Not only should abortion be illegal because it is morally wrong it also often leaves women with long or short lasting side effects. Most of these side effects are dealing with the patient’s mental health. Loved ones of the patients often fear of depression, guilt, and anxiety might overpower their state of mind. After making the very tough decision of having an abortion a greatly amount of the women having this procedure cannot bear with ending an innocent life. These things happen when the woman believes she has no other option to go to.
This was proven when a Swedish doctor observed 479 women after having their abortion performed and 75% of women went through anxiety attacks every day. Also, 10% of the women who have abortions performed commit suicide due to the strain on their mental health.
