TASK 1

Find 2 other different forms from each of the following three nouns. Name the forms (noun, verb, adjective etc) and then use each of them appropriately in a sentence. For example: care (careful – adj), carelessly (adv), carer (noun).


Cleanliness

Adjective – Clean
He would always make sure that his house was clean and tidy.

Adverb – Cleanly
The knife went through the bread cleanly.



Allowance

Adjective – Allowable
He was sentenced to the maximum allowable 6 months.


Verb – Allow
He would not allow the door to be left open.



Tolerance

Verb – Tolerate
He would not tolerate bad behaviour in his classroom.

Adjective – Tolerable
He was becoming more tolerable of the bad behaviour.
