Appearance is a very important factor to almost every woman, and a big part of that appearance is makeup. Makeup has become one of the fastest growing industries because of its importance in every woman’s life. For women’s makeup is a daily routine. Just like clothing has different brands so does makeup, and that makes the difference when we choose our friends. People usually hang out with people and make friends that share same or common interest. Usually people wouldn’t see people who were rich and wore expensive brands of clothing and makeup hang out with someone who wears the basic clothing and the cheapest brand of makeup. Makeup has always had a role of changing people’s looks and personalities, especially in teenage girls. Most importantly makeup has it all; the cost, the beauty, and the consequences.
For instance, when it comes to makeup most girls are thinking about how much it is going to cost out of their pocket to have good brand of makeup. Makeup comes in different brands, and so depending on what kind of brand of makeup usually depends on how expensive it is going to be. The most expensive brand of makeup is called Smash box, and so normally rich people would be wearing this brand. Mostly even poor people would go and buy an average cost makeup brands such as Revlon, Maybelline, L’Oreal and so on. Most girls will go and buy the expensive makeup brands just to fit into a group of friends they would like to hang out with and be popular like them. For example, my friend Amy always used to buy a very cheap makeup like the ones that are sold cheap at the Dollar Stores or Dollar General. But, one day she decided that she wanted to fit into one of the most popular group in High School filled with beautiful girls, but the only problem was that she thought of herself not being pretty girl like they were.
