Introduction
The hotel and travel industries are among the fast developing industries in the
world. Their competitive edge is prompted by the increased demand in the hospitality
industry, where every business establishment is doing all it can, to dominate the
market and win a maximum number of clients and consumers. In light of the above
information, managements in hospitality industries are tirelessly toiling, so as to
remain relevant in this lucrative sector of the economy.
Among the well established contributors of the hospitality industry in Hong
Kong is the Rosedale Hotels group that offers a variety of services to both the local
and international consumers. In this research, Rosedale hotels Group will be the
centre of interest, where challenges and issues experienced will be evaluated critically,
and relevant proposal that are aimed at spurring the hotel to the next level proposed.
Rosedale Hotels Group was founded in 1997, and has grown to be among the
most successful chains of hotels within China and Hong Kong. In the entire Asian
